Using An Electric Concrete Mixer
If you are doing a small concrete job or mixing mortar, you do not need to order cement from a concrete plant and have a huge cement mixing truck back into your yard. You will find it much more economical to mix your own cement using an electric concrete mixer.

If your mixer is an older one, it may not have an on or off switch. Instead it just starts as soon as it is plugged in. Since you will be working with water and electricity, it is a good idea to use a grounded outlet strip with a switch that can easily be turned and off.
